Details ‘submitted’ to the EFL
Derby County have reportedly submitted details of interested parties to the EFL for approval, as there is movement on a takeover of the club.
The Rams were left back at square one earlier this month when preferred bidder Chris Kirchner withdrew his interest. The American was granted a period of exclusivity to complete a takeover but a delay led to the deal falling through.
That left the club administrators, Quantuma, on the search for a new owner. There have, however, been a few parties said to be interested including former Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley, former Rams’ chairman Andy Appleby and former Wolves owner Steve Morgan.
RamsTrust report that both Quantuma and the EFL have ‘confirmed the details of interested parties have been submitted for approval’.
